Our lumbar support system manufactured by Rostra Controls uses an air bladder installed in the lower back section of the seat to extend the lumbar area for lower back comfort. A compact, quiet compressor controlled by an inflate/deflate switch allows precise air bladder control for a wide range of adjustments. The air bladder will likely be installed between the frame and foam cushion. Depending on the seat design, the air bladder may be installed between the foam cushion and seat cover instead.
